I'm the author and artist of the Bizenghast manga, published by Tokyopop. we have a new project coming out that's a novelization of the current Bizenghast series.

This is the cover for the first Bizenghast novel...not written by me, but I've worked with the author on the major points and I'm eager to see what the final draft will look like!

Even though I won't be writing the novel itself, I'm doing all the interior illustrations and the cover. This cover had to be oriented to make room for the brand bar and titles more to the left side of the image, which is why Dinah is over more by the right. If you skip over this description and then tell me she's not exactly center, I will ignore you. Also you will burst into flames.

I'll post up the background just by itself later...it's a neat design but most of the details are covered up by the central figure.
