Me at Saboten-Con. Photo by my inestimable liaison Michelle!
My V. Franco costume, which I later restyled and took some liberties with because, well, I felt like it.
It fit a little awkwardly this weekend, because I gained some weight after making it, and all that weight was gained RIGHT IN MY BOOBS. Everything else fit fine, but the boobs did not want to get in the dress! Shocking! Considering how much I spent making this costume and how much time I wasted on the beading and gems, it's more economic for me to just diet before wearing this again, rather than alter it.

Veronica would have liked this dress I think. As for the boobs though maybe it was like, kismet or something. I mean, courtesan. Yeah. Anyways, did you see that movie Dangerous Beauty? Because I freakin' love that film.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
