State of Marty Address

Hey everyone!

Whew! So it's been a long time getting back on DA, but I come bringing LOTS OF NEWS regarding things and stuff!  So hopefully this post will answer all your Qs!

ITEM ONE: Bizenghast!

I'm very pleased to announce that a BIZENGHAST BOX SET is coming out next year!  Featuring awesome art on a decorative display box, the set will be available for purchase with the entire book series included (for those who don't have it)...OR, as an alternative for those who do, you can JUST buy the display box, to put your own books in!  Limited boxes will be sold autographed, so stay tuned! 

I'm also in talks to do a second season of Bizenghast manga, but that is a VERY BIG IF, so don't get too crazy!  It would be fantastic to do the Riddle Road series as actual graphic novels, but we will have to see!

Speaking of which, the Riddle Road ashcan series of Bizenghast is almost finished!  Volumes 8 and 9 are the LAST installments and will be coming out soon!  Check out the series in my Etsy shop: tinyurl.com/na2lpt3

ITEM TWO: Toyetica!

I have a NEW comic series coming out from Action Lab Entertainment called Toyetica!  It's SO fabulous and I love it muchly. I think you'll love it too!  You can see a few samples of stuff from it in my gallery.  What's especially neat about this series is that we want to release a line of exclusive TOYS along with the series! OMG ACTION FIGURES AND DOLLS, SO EXCITING!!  Please stick around for more news about that!

ITEM THREE: The Elephant Book!

I know it's been a while since the first Elephant Book came out and I haven't had the backing or funds to create a sequel yet. Booooooooo lame.  But the first book will be soon serialized on a new comic-reader app called POP Comics, and a support function will allow people to support the series with Patreon-style funding.  If there's enough backing for the series, I'll be able to start serializing the rest of the series online!  So that's VERY cool and I hope it does well!

ITEM FOUR: The Party Princess Handbook!

ITEM FIVE: New Job!

In addition to the millions of other freelance things I do to make a living, I now have a pretty cool part-time job as a toy designer for a large toy brand agency!  Soon you'll see toys that I designed, on shelves at Toys R Us and other stores!  It's so exciting!!  Hopefully I can eventually use this new job to make enough money to fund all my zillions of side projects, and not work a bunch of jobs at once! XD

ITEM SIX: My cats

They're still lazy and fat. No change there.
